Went to Hiroshima last weekend. Wow- what a powerful place! Checked out the A-Bomb dome and moved over to the memorial museum. I wasn't quite emotionally prepared for it. Some really shocking stuff in there. Brutally detailed pictures of badly burned victims, images of black rain, and a glass case containing the skin and fingernails from the hand of a 12 year old boy. Learned some new interesting facts, but mostly wandered around the city spacing out about how quickly it can all end.

Glad to talk to everyone on Thanksgiving- looked like everyone had a great day. Can't believe it has been almost a year since I've been gone. Looking forward to a break for New Year's. Also excited to learn the new Jim Jarmusch movie is playing down the street from me next month. Talk soon
