Osaka, Japan- So I am finally in Japan! I’m just beginning to deal with the realization that I am in fact here. It is a bit scary to be honest, but also overwhelmingly exciting. I’m a bit uncomfortable at the moment- I’m absolutely freezing and I am feeling rather nauseous. I’m temporarily staying in this tiny room apartment for the duration of my training and it just does not want to warm up. I have the heat turned all the way up (at least I think, I’m not yet able to read Japanese). At the very least, I have 3 blankets to sleep with.
I’ve bought some noodles and juice to get me through the next 2 days of training. The flight wasn’t too difficult and I managed to sleep quite a bit on the Chicago-Seoul route. I still feel exhausted tonight though I did doze off for about 45 minutes around 4:30pm. I think I’m going to review a few details for tomorrow, have a bowl of noodles and go to sleep around 8-8:30. Hopefully it won’t be as dreadfully cold when I awake. Talk to you all soon!
